Viva Las Vegas !!!
I just got back from my Memorial Day weekend getaway to Las Vegas. I went to go see the Queen of Pop. I got to see Madonna's Confessions Tour two nights in a row. I saw her show on Saturday, May 27 and her show on Sunday. I got to meet Ingrid Casares, Guy Oseary and Stuart Price at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, on Saturday, May 27 after the show. I saw them strolling through the casino and I asked for a picture with Stuart. They were all super cool and laidback about it.
I look super dorky but who cares. Ingrid Casares was nice enough to take the picture and Guy Oseary took one too with his digital camera. I spotted Paris and Nicky Hilton at Sunday's concert flanked by two big bodyguards. I also hear Lindsay Lohan was at the show.
I was seated next to milk duds both days. I don't know why these people bothered to attend. They were so boring, didn't know any of the songs, didn't sing along, dance, or anything. They were a few cool people sitting around me but we were outnumbered by the zombies. I've seen furniture with more personality. It was so frustrating. Some Canadian old fart even asked me to sit down. As if! I didn't travel all the way from Texas to go sit at a Madonna concert. Please! Before the show all he kept on talking about was Bon Jovi and how Bon Jovi would never play an arena as small as the MGM. Like Bon Jovi even registers at the same level as Madonna. Fucking idiot! The other night I got passed up for front row tickets which left me devasted and mortified. Guy Oseary was personally walking around the arean looking for hardcore fans to give tickets to. He was followed around by some old man in a suit. When he got to my section he accused me of not being a huge "wild & crazy" Madonna fan because I wasn't wearing a Madonna t-shirt. Whatever!!! I was rocking my Sympathy for the Devil look which consists of a customized 2(x)ist t-shirt emblazoned with a foil picture of Mick Jagger, black rosary, silver Marc Jacobs Vans, topped off with handmade horns. My suggestion is everyone should try to look over the top when you go to the concert. Douse yourself in glittter, show off your Madonna tattoo, recreate the leotard disco girl look anything to get yourself noticed. I stood out but I didn't make it. He's looking for fans who have semi shitty seats and are hardcore fans. I'm totally bummed. I always wear Madonna t-shirts and the one day I decide it's tacky I get passed up for front row tickets. The guy who got them after me wasn't even wearing a Madonna t-shirt, he was just a screaming queen in a really loud outfit. So do yourselves a favor and try to stand out in a crowd of thousands. I tried really hard to get those tix but I got passed up. He almost gave them to me but first strike was I wasn't wearing a Madonna t-shirt but hello everyone was and I never wear a t-shirt with a picture of the artist I'm about to see unless it's one I made and I'm 100 % positive no one else will have it. Second strike was I was alone on Sunday night, I couldn't convince anyone to go with me two nights in a row so I went on my own to the concert. Guy asked some stupid bitch sitting behind me to go with me but she said she was with her husband, and when she said yes it was too late he had already asked the screaming queen and some random girl. Doesn't the bitch know these things are quick. She fucked with my destiny. "Oh well whatever nevermind." That's show biz.
