Fashion Madness

This is something I've been meaning to blog about even b4 I knew what I knew what a blog was. So ocassionally whilst channel surfing I'll watch Fashion Trance on the Style network. It's like being at fashion show w/ out having to endure the smell of fresh vomit in the air, the airkissing, and all botox scarred front row. The show is set to terrible dance music but it's great for nights when nothing is on TV. My favorite part has got to be when they list the designer's inspirations for the show. They're classic. One designer listed (i love this) stuffed animals and human anatomy. Jeremy Scott counts LA street gangs and knights as his muses for his Spring 2005 collection. U gotta love their creativity.

I know I've already blogged about Helen Love but this cover is as genius as the song is. The tracks on this e.p. have such great titles. Anyone who so much as mentions Debbie Harry earns a gold star in my book. It's all too perfect. Pop + bubblegum + guitars + Debbie Deb = yum.

Gone to Neopia

I'm totally obsessed w/ the Neopets they're giving away with the HappyMeals at McDonald's. They're fantastic. I want every single one of them & I don't even know why. So far I have a Kiko, a Kacheek and a Mynci. Insanity has officially set in. I even went & registered @ neopets.com & made one of those silly online neopets. I just think the idea of an online pet is genius!

OH MY GOD!!!!!

I have died & gone to heaven. I found the most interesting awesome blossom songs on assorted blogs. One of my favorites by far is Helen Love's tribute to Debbie Harry & Joey Ramone. The song is so infectious and so yummy yummy in the tummy.

New Obsessions

1. my brand spanking new digital camera designed by gwen 'let me see how much further i can expand my empire' stefani. u gotta love her.

2. The new nine inch nails video which is insanely cool and the song is so new wave. I guess that's what u get when u combine David Fincher and nin.

3. the new gwen stefani video for "cool" so pop! it's cheesy and dreamy all under 5 minutes. much like the high drama of cyndi lauper's genius "time after time" and the makeout song of the century madonna's "crazy for you" ( i recently d'j'ayed @ a lil' juke joint and played crazy 4 u" followed by cool and had the kiddies making out all over the place like if they were on leave for war .

4. anna something or other's song -"2am" she sounds like alanis & jewel but in a good way cuz i just don't like me the alanis

5. the click 5's song and video for "just the girl"

6. the new all-american rejects video for "dirty little secret" which is one of those videos with a message (blah!) much like jimmy eat world's "work" video. The song isn't as catchy as "Swing, Swing" but good nonetheless.

7. missy - lose control ( is it just me or do her and ciara not know what accapella means)

8. summer - i hate school

Viva Las Vegas

So I haven't blogged in awhile cuz i'm so bored with blogging but now I'm back. I went to Las Vegas and it gave me somethang to blog about. Vegas is great but it's also shit at times. The heat is crazy. I'm talking b-a-n-a-n-a-s. And there's a buttload of people everywhere. There's no shortage of people in Vegas. There's ppl from all corners of the earth. if u should decide to go the vegas route get used to the idea of looking for parking in overcrowded hot parking lots [ if u have the luxury of a car while your in town otherwise you'll have to pay for overpriced taxi rides and some bullshit tram thing], cramming into elevators with the most random people, buffets, frat boys looking to recreate swingers or something, and pretty young things aspiring to be paris hilton and the heat and losing $$$ on slot machines that just simply refuse to pay out.

I still wanna go back to vegas and check out Zumanity or some other cirque de soleil show, Forty Deuce, the Liberace museum, madame tussaud's ( is there one still in vegas???) and the tranny shack the Killers started at, and the Attic vintage shop again ( i went there years ago i want to see if it still sux / does anyone remember that mastercard commercial well it was all a lie that place sucks) amongst other things.
