I Ain't No Hollaback Girl
I'm super duper excited. Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Lovers tour finally kicked off this past Sunday, October 16 while I was at the Nine Inch Nails concert in San Antonio. And after some research I have learned she is performing her new song "Orange County Girl."
Gwen's set is about an hour and twenty minutes.
Meshell Ndegeocello is on bass and backup vocals and former Bruce Springsteen and David Bowie drummer Zachary Alford is also in Gwen's backup band.
The second song she performs is "What You Waiting For?." She is also of course performing "Rich Girl," "Hollaback Girl," "Cool," and "Luxurious." Sad to say NO! NoDoubt songs. That sucks, "oh well, whatever nevermind." Couldn't she have at least performed the songs she wrote on her own like "Simple Kind Of Life" or "Suspension Without Suspense."
Her other new songs, that debuted at her L.A.M.B. runway show, are called "Breaking Up" and "Candyland," I don't know if she performing any of these just yet.
I also have read she wrote a new song with Tony Kanal called "Fluorescent Lights." I hope all the new songs will be on her new album due out soon.

"Luxurious" is going to be her next single and she's already filmed the video. Stefani looks very Chola/ pachuca in it.
She's finally achieved that California chola look she's been dying to get. I know she's going to get some flak about the Isley Brothers sample on the track cuz everyone is going to associate it with the Notorious B.I.G. & they're going to say she's ripping him off. WHATEVER!
L.A.M.B. is being reissued this month.
The newly repackaged L.A.M.B. is going to be a 2-CD set with a whole new cover. CD1 is the album we all know and love and CD2 is a bonus cd with a whole bunch of remixes. This is the new cover
to be released oct 17 in Australia and Germany Oct 14th (according to amazon.de)

Busy lil' bee Stefani is not only on tour, rereleasing L.A.M.B., releasing a second solo album, a shoe line with Royal Elastics, an accessories line with Sanrio, a new video & single for "Luxurious" but she's also releasing a DVD very soon. Her guest vocals can be heard on the new charity single "Tears In Heaven" to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina along with Scott Weiland, Pink, Mary J. Blige, Elton John, Kelly Osbourne, Ozzy Osbourne, Rod Stewart, Steven Tyler, Robert Downey Jr. and Gavin Rossdale and the new Pharrell single "Can I Have It Like That" She also appears in Pharrell's video.
